Sometimes it happens, whether planned or not, just before a big race.  We offer extended and last-minute deferrals until one week before race start for pregnancy.  (Notice pregnancy is not listed under injury and illness because it’s neither!)

Deferral is good for up to two years. Proof of pregnancy required by physician. $250 admin fee.

Ouch! All that training and you ended up hurt! Up until three months before race start you can choose to defer for one year. Deferral must be used the following year, no exceptions. Injury must be documented by physician and must be substantive enough to clearly make it impossible to participate. To qualify for deferred race you must let us know at least 6 months before race date the following year and a $250 admin fee will be charged.

Please be sure to carefully consider our refund and transfer policy.  We begin incurring fees as soon as you sign up as we begin to prepare for you. The non-refundable admin fees are designed to cover these costs. Several companies offer event insurance policies you can purchase separately if you want to be sure you are fully covered should you have to cancel.
